What to bring

Be prepared for a fantastic day on the water by bringing the essentials. From proper clothing and fishing licenses to snacks and safety gear, here’s everything you’ll need to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable fishing adventure.

Weather Appropriate Clothing

Consider bringing rain gear or dressing in layers, as it can be considerably cooler on the water, especially early in the season. Please wear only soft-soled shoes.

Fishing Licenses

If you don't have a valid fishing license, please ensure you obtain one before arriving. You can renew or purchase a license online for either New York or Ontario.

Sun Protection

A hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses are essential while out on the water.

Coolers

Fish will be cleaned, filleted, and bagged, but you'll need to bring them home yourself. We recommend a cooler with ice packs, bagged ice, and large or extra-large Ziploc bags.

Camera

The open water offers breathtaking views, so take full advantage of all the photo opportunities once you're out there.

Food & Drinks

Don't forget to bring lunch, snacks, and drinks if your charter isn’t catered. A small fridge is available for your convenience.

Anti-Seasickness

For those prone to motion sickness, consider using wristbands, patches, or Gravol, which can be purchased at a drugstore.

Sunglasses

Sunglasses not only protect your eyes from the sun but also provide crucial protection against hooks and other flying debris when reeling in a fish.
